We had a GW come on our property this year to check people and confiscated someone's phone while they went and looked for other hunters. I was surprised by that, so I am curious. If someone came on my land and told me he was gonna confiscate my phone, I would tell him he was gonna just have to shoot me. I don't think I would give up my phone without being arrested in any situation, but he sure wouldn't get it if I were on my land and had broken no laws. Please tell us more about this story.

I've never had any bad experiences with any of our GWs. The times that we have been checked, the GW has always been very professional and courteous.
