What others said... Look, the noise may travel 100-200 yds but if the deer are 300- 400 yds away they never hear it. 15 to 30 minutes later they can be walking under your stand never knowing something made noise 30 minutes ago. Especially if they were over a ridge top when you set up.
If you walk 100 yds through dry leaves to get to your stand you have already made more noise than the climber did.
I bought an ATV to get to my hunting area, now half the fun of hunting is the ride in and out.

no feeling more secure than getting up the perfect size pine tree in a summit, digging those teeth in, and tightening up the Third Hand Archery stabilizer straps. most relaxed I am during the week, I think. I don't have to think about it, it's definitely the most relaxed time for me. The third hand stabilizer straps are great.

Ghilley suit and hunt from the ground. It dont hurn near as bad if you fall.

I have had deer come in on a string to the sound of my climber. More than once. Scratching up and down a pine tree is a normal sound in the woods IMO. As long as you aren't making any metallic clanging noises I would not worry about it a bit. I agree.
