If i'm willing to shoot it, then i'm willing to do all i can to retrieve it. This!!!! I'm about as easy a going guy you're gonna meet. But if you wanna see me red faced and shaking, shoot a doe and not put in all efforts to find it. We had a couple guys that used to hunt with us and if they shot a doe and it didn't drop or die within a short distance they wouldn't even try to find it. After a few times this happened and we went and found the deer less than 100yds away and they threw out the "it's just a doe no big deal" they were unpolitetly told to pack their chit and get the you know what off the property and do not ever think of coming back.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
