In all seriousness, I don't particularly like it when it gets this cold either. Once I get chilled I have to go take a hot shower to shake it off of me. I start feeling like I'm chilled to the bone. It sure does make the hunting better though. If you're not seeing deer during these really cold days then try changing your tactics. Hunt later in the mornings. Don't give out to many secrets.

I had planned on hunting today but when I got up this morning and saw how hard the wind was blowing to go along with the cold temps I just went back to bed. Momma was sho' nuff warm when I snuggled back in beside her. I did the EXACT same thing.

I was walking across the Foodland Parking lot in Woodstock last week when it was so cold, met and old man wearing a veterans cap. I asked him if it was cold enough. He said" Hell boy, this ain't cold, cold was at Chosin Reservoir. The man was in Korea at Chosin, one of the "Frozen Chosin".
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Troy, Arizona is nice. Pretty conservative state and a lot of old curmudgeon's like you or I. Another plus is you can always get yard or day labor really cheap.

I enjoy these Cold spells Myself. Before We know it it will be a Heat index over a 100 and Sweating as soon as You step Outside. I despise the Hot and Humid weather we have for Months down on the Gulf Coast.

I'd move to Flagstaff but wouldn't live in Phoenix again, if I wanted to live in Arizona. The northern part of the state is more scenic, has more critters to kill, and is closer to Utah, Colorado and New Mexico.

The Payson area would be my first choice, but Flagstaff would do nicely, except it does get cold in both places in the winter if that is what you are running from. I could do the Phoenix area, not necessarily Phoenix though. More like Surprise or Cave Creek for me.

Just fyi, the middle Keys aren't full of fags unless they moved in the last couple of years. They all stay in Key West, those Islamarado fishermen would feed em to the sharks.

we used to hang out in some of those almost unnoticed local titty bars, you know the kind where the pole dancers and strippers come and sit with the local fishermen they know after their performance. Everybody knows everybody. Keep yer mouth shut and stay out of the way kind of places.
