Outback,why wouldn't a coyote kill a fawn? coyote are very resourceful and will eat persimmons ,fruit or anything else they can find or kill. and they are capable of killing about anything in the woods. They WILL kill fawn ... I never said they wouldn't, I said they RARELY do. Some predators are killers, others are scavengers. Coyotes are primarily scavengers, they kill when there's nothing else available. You and I are also capable of killing anything on earth, but we'll go to McDonald's more often because it takes less effort and less time.
