Snuggle with my wife, eat pancakes, watch some ball. Hunt the last hour and a half and debate whether I should shoot a doe since game comes on at 7.
When I do go, I’m going to watch the pines where I saw does nearly every hunt last year. But my confidence is low. Some things have changed on neighboring properties since last year and that pattern may not work.

No way I'm gonna sit out in the mess. Sat from 11:30 till dark today, and that was cold enough for me. Saw 7 does at 1:45 and 2 more does, a spike and a undetermined grunting one at 4:20. He hung up at about 90 yds up in the rocks and would not come down. I'm still frozen from the dang wind. Does aren't quite ready yet. Next weekend should get them going.
