For as long as I've been using a climber, I've always worn my backpack on my front and of course climber on my back.
There is really no way to carry my pack and climber on my back since my pack is probably bigger than some of you carry.

Anytime someone see's me and stops, they always say...that's interesting how you do that lol

I always tell them, one reason I do it is it evens me out. 22 ish lb climber on back and 30ish lb pack on front.

This makes more sense to you if you also have back problems and can't carry all the weight back there.

It never seems to interfere with anything. I can squat down and get a round off with my BP if needed..May be a little bit more difficult with a bow since having to draw, but with my bow I usually don't even think about trying to fire it quickly..

I always hung my backpack ON the stand, both on my back.

I do like Fred, and it's not a "backpack" if you wear it on your front!

My backpack fits perfectly to my climber. So both on my back. I mainly bow hunt though and you never know what may happen on the way to your tree.

Heck, my bag prolly weighs close to that too. I don't mind a few minutes of discomfort carrying the heavy bag for the conveniences it provides in the tree.

You carry your backpack anyway you want. Im not going to judge you.
Hell, I been carrying all my stuff in a murse this season.
The beauty of the murse is it keeps my stuff together better than if I carried it in my pockets. And the size keeps it from ever weighing 30 lbs.

What the heck is a murse? Did you get it at Bass Pro, Cabelas, or Belk?

A murse is a man purse.
Ive owned this thing forever and I just put it back in service this season. Its just a pouch with a shoulder strap. Throw it over your shoulder and go.
Ive used backpacks, turkey vests, pockets, you name it over the years.
This is by far best solution for me. I like keeping my stuff together but keeping it light.

I always have a full thermos of coffee in my pack and that's the heaviest thing, and binoculars are 2nd but I don't always carry them.
My pack actually has a lot of room. It probably doesn't weigh anywhere close to 30 unless I packed everything.. That was just a figure of speech to illustrate how it offsets the weight of my climber on my back..Plus it gives you a lot of balance when climbing hils etc.

Was just curious if anyone else did it..It's not right nor wrong, it's just my way.

I have fanny pack that i wear or I strap it to the stand. I carry a bottle of water, pack of crackers, knife, folding saw, hand warmers. Prolly weighs 3-4 pounds max. I normally don't climb anywhere I'd need binos so I put them along with the fanny pack in a back pack and walk to the food plot.

I never carry a back pack on my front, but sometimes when no one is looking I carry a front pack on my back.

I use a fanny pack, too. I have a bad back and it forces me to just carry the necessities. I usually have a sharpener, nitrile gloves, water bottle, compass, lighter, char cloth, and a snack or two. I modify the contents based on what the situation is.

When I hunt out west that's a different story. I have a mystery ranch pack that you could fit your whole truck into. But that's a different case as you usually pack out animals in quarters.

Just to clearify why I do this. You can see my pack is prob. much bigger than most carry. But it holds everything I need or want to carry with ease.
