The vast majority of the activity is late in the evening. However, from time to time you’ll see some activity just after daylight. Most of the time though, deer will start leaving the fields just before daylight. It would be hard for most people to sneak in on them in the predawn hours on fields.
On mornings when we have really cold temps that cause a hard freeze then you’ll get a spike in activity around mid morning just as the frost burns off. Its usually brief though….they feed for 10-15 minutes and then leave again.
