Not to high jack your thread, but our church is about to build a separate youth worship center. It appears you had a stage and music/instruments involved. Question is: what were the acoustics like with the concrete floor with carpet and what will it be like WITHOUT the carpet?
I haven't done too much as far as worship goes in this room, we have another space we are using for the time being. The acoustics without carpet obviously wont be great, but you can fix that with acoustic paneling on the walls. Carpet helps, so do bodies.
