If I wanted a rug made or had room for a full body mount, yes. If not, Id pick a different deer to kill for meat and enjoy watching it.

You people will never learn. At Jason's Deli, they have a soft serve machine. You can vanilla, chocolate or swirl. This is just the swirl version of deer...

Deer ain't sacred.

Piebald and albino - the latter of which truly is a genetic problem - are not the same.

Albino deer have genetic issues and should be killed, truly to get them out of the poplation. Yet too many folks camp in the emotional, passion-spurred "Oh, they're sacred special spirit animals" and lose their damned minds if someone lifts a finger against it. Folks talk about management and "herd health" and all this stuff yet protect something that is seriously screwed up and not good genetically for the population.

This one showed up on our cameras today. This is the 1st pic of a piebald deer on our land. We did see a piebald spike about 3 years ago but the neighbors killed him. This one is getting a pass

Look at the bottom left of the picture. I thought it was dog at first but then saw the other two deer in the pic. I then downloaded a high res picture and saw that it was a deer.

We got a piebald doe on our Bullock county tract we've watched for 2 years. Had dozens of chances to kill it but everyone passed so far. Now I don't know about the neighbors. I haven't seen her in a couple of weeks so she might have gotten killed by now.

I saw one several years ago and wanted to kill her bad. Saw her one more time, but couldn't get a shot.

Closest thing to a piebald I've ever seen was an old doe on my land that had a hand size white patch on her hip. She had 3 good triplet fawns every year for 3 or 4 years and then disappeared.

Yes. And I did.it was a buck...made a nice throw rug , that now lives over the back of one of the chairs in my family rm. I have since passed on a young piebald doe twice ....but who know when she grows up I might just get another rug.

Piebald is a genetic problem as well. I am not going to say it will severely damage your herd but you do see the short legs and smaller body size on most piebald deer. It is not a healthy condition overall.

You may as well shoot it, if not, mother nature/natural selection will eventually take care of it any way. As much as they stand out I'm surprised they don't fall to natural predators at an early age.
