[img:left]  Untitled by bambam32, on Flickr[/img] So what in the world was Ruger thinking with the high polish barrels on these stainless guns? One of the first times I hunted with mine I got busted by some deer a pretty long way off and couldn't figure out how. Was telling my hunting buddy about it and started laughing, he could see the shine off my barrel from the other side of the cutover. I promptly went and bought some cheap camo tape and put on it. My son keeps telling me to get it cera coated or black ice coated, but I'm kinda old school and think of it as messing up a classic.
