This one started life as a standard M77 red pad tanger in .270 Win, with the wood stock and glossy blueing, and a stiff trigger.. It would shoot small groups, but they shifted around with the weather. Solution was to bead blast the metal, then do something (can't remember what) to make it flat black. Had the trigger worked, then put it all in a stiff Bell & Carlson stock, glass bedded and free floated. The final mod was a result of an accident involving a plugged barrel that bulged. Had to chop off about 2.5 inches and recrown. Here is what it looks like now:
