A few years ago I bought some.
Note that everyone says they should never be used as an investment tool. There's no intrinsic value to this stuff, its not a commodity like hard metals.
I kinda agree with that although my small purchase saw a nice return.

I'd through a bit of extra cash at it, if you can afford it. A risk, that could pay off big time.
Been here long enough to go from "bring 'da pain" to " bring 'da pain meds.

I have been thinking about buying some, the problem is that it is so high now it will take me a long time just to own 1 bitcoin, if you spend $50 you get 0.004620 worth of bitcoin at today's price, I have been looking at some of the cheaper crypto currencies...

I've got a tiny bit of Etherium. Wish I'd bought about 100x more. It was a $7 a year ago. It's $415 today and was at $500 a few days ago.

I've been looking at buying some of the cheaper ones (Ripple, Monero) to invest - currently only 22 cents or so..
It's a sanctuary.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Stuart Varney explained on Fox this morning how it is not an investment. Stupidest thing I've seen since folks buying Iraq money. Dumb friend "invested" in that and lost all. Get rich quick is just that. Correct. It is not an investment. It is actual money. Just like the US dollar.

Folks print out the code and put in safe. He used example of bitcoin being bought for $7000 dropping to $975 in a week and then up to $5700. No stability.

Just because it's erratic, doesn't mean it's not money. Check out Zimbabwe. Their inflation rate is "infinity". It might not be good money, but it's still money.
