The stats say that Iowa State had more yards, caused more turnovers, had more time of possession, rushed the ball better, etc, etc, etc. Oh, by the way, they won the game, too.

Anyone here want to carry on the ridiculous arguement that Iowa State is a better team than Okie State? They had better stats and they won the game, right?

I didn't think so...to argue such would kill the "Okie State deserves a shot at the BCSNC more than Bama does" line of thought.

Just goes to show there are lies, damn lies, and statistics.

Bottom line...even the analysts who do not like the idea of a rematch all say that LSU and Alabama are the two best teams in the nation. The BCS is designed to pit the two best teams in the nation against each other. Therefore, LSU and Alabama SHOULD play each other for the national championship. Anything else is just fluff/bs.
