There wasn't a mutiny in 2001 when Nebraska sat at home while Colorado represented the North in the Big 12 CG, then NU got the BCSCG bid. Not sure why you think there could be one now, other than the obvious.


What is the number of SEC wins in the last 5 years, oh yeah 5, if LSU and Alabama plays that guarantees a 6th and not to mention the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ associated with it to the SEC. Think maybe some other conferences want a chance at some of the cash? Or, maybe we can just proclaim that the winner of the SEC is the NC, oh but wait a minute that would leave Alabama out wouldn't it? Yep, a playoff system is the best way to make sure it is settled on the field, but that doesn't let the subjective come into play so some team can be annointed like in the past.
