My head has been completely stopped for about 11 days, sort of like having my head in a bucket of water. I used the nasal spray 4 or 5 times yesterday afternoon and last night and at 10:30 when I carried our Boston Terrier out I figured I would try to blow something out. It was a lot like a champagne bottle blowing a cork out. Damn, I can breath again.

I got some extreme head pressure today giving me a pounding headache

Anytime that happens to me I take one of those baby nasal syringes, mix warm water and salt. Lay on the side of a bed and force the salt water up each side. 3 things will happen, 1) it burns Iike hell. 2) you’ll feel like your drowning 3) it will clear out all that nasal back up and clear your sinuses up. I know it sounds stupid and its kinda primitive but it will work.

Felt mine coming on Tuesday afternoon. Went to the Doc in box Wed morning for a steroid shot and some antibiotics.

Always nice to finally have the ears pop too.

First opening morning I have ever missed.

We all know the recipe for homemade cough syrup...honey, lemon juice, and whiskey... Mix about 1/4 cup each of honey and lemon juice, 1/3-1/2 cup whiskey, and add a teaspoon of ginger, and a teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper.

What happens when you eat a hot pepper?

That's exactly like my recipe, except I don't use the honey, lemon juice, ginger or pepper.

I like whiskey neat, too, but this past week, I thought I was gonna die...I had a prescription for cough syrup with codeine, but 1 teaspoon every 6 hours helped for about 15 minutes. I went ahead and added the honey and lemon to the whiskey, and that held me over until the next dose of the prescription stuff rolled around.
