As one GW told me one time when he came up on me at my stand in National Forrest. "For every step you took in these woods, you've stepped on 10 of mine."
That's the truth. I've told on here before that several years ago I had a GW walk up on me at my truck while I was helping my son gets his coveralls on. He was literally 8' away from me before he announced himself. Until then, I didn't even know he was there. Scared the crap out of me. He's a member here too. anybody we know????? I can't remember his screen name but it was Officer Shawn Nixon. Very nice guy. Gave me his cell number should I ever need him. Have met him also. Nice Guy!
