Anybody else stoopid enough to own one? If so, when do they settle the frak down? Mine is 2 and he's still wild as all get out, like having another toddler.

My dad has a redbone that is 3-4 years old and she is still high strung. It takes a couple swats on the nose and about 15 minutes for her to chill out when I go in the fence.. She's also fixed.

I should ha e got her in the woods when she was a pup

I've got a bloodhound. He's 4 months old. He gets pretty excited when I let him out in the afternoons and acts crazy but he ends up settling down. He's bad clumsy and it's funny to watch him trip over his own feet.

Good luck. I made that mistake once and won't ever again. Ended up giving her to my old boss and he kept her for 4-5 years when they moved. She was still as big a pain in the ass then as she was at 2.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
