Look at some of the guys hunting at the Range. Full disability, HC tag but can climb a tree and drag a deer all day long. Pisses me off. I know 1 of them well and he just decided he didn't want to work anymore. Amen!! Every year they have that handicap hunt, and half those jokers walk up a ridge and climb a tree!

Mainly fatass lazy ladies who have raging cases of sugarbeetees and look like honey boo boos mom or whatever it is. This, you can straight up get one because you’re a fatass. Which is so ass-backwards........The doctor's response ought to be "No ma'am, I won't give you a parking tag b/c you're 5'2" and 400lbs. In fact, you should park at the very end of the parking lot and walk back & forth to get some modicum of exercise"

I never paid much attention to HC parking until my wife got MS. We have to get hers renewed every few years. You are suppose to keep a form in the vehicle and use the placard only when that person is in the car. I would love for some of these forms to get checked sometime, but it won't happen.

I’ve noticed a lot in the left lane at 10 under the limit all the way from Arab to Albertville every day.
Side note: I realize everyone who has a tag isn’t slow behind the wheel.
I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan

I saw a younger woman of color whip into a handicap spot just yesterday, with a Disabled Vet tag on the vehicle. She was the only one in the vehicle. She popped out of the vehicle and walked very fast to the store (in my mind, she was doing cartwheels). As for handicap spots, some people need them and won't use them, some people use them and don't need them, while some people need them and can't use them because some able bodied lazy person is using them...SMH. For the record, so no one misunderstands, a Disabled Veterans tag IS NOT a handicap tag and does not serve as one. It does not give the person Handicap parking privileges, although the Vet probably deserves and needs the spot worse than some that park there.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

There are exceptions to everything, but I have noticed a certain demogrqphic seems to make up about 95% of the ones I see in use.
I'm no Dr. but most of the people I see using them don't appear to be in bad shape either. You are correct. I broke my hand severely several years ago and had to go to physical therapy three times a week. There were folks of a certain demographic who also had a hand injury getting therapy, and ALL of them had HC tags, and couldn't understand why I refused to get one. Ridiculed me for not getting one.

That's absolutely correct. And although I have both, I still prefer to park closer to a shade tree than a store front.

While you are correct about the DV tags I can say without a doubt that I was told by the tag office people that I could park anywhere I wanted with my DV tag

My dad has one but anyone than knows his story knows he needs it. Now, my 73 year old mom will use it if she goes to her local Walmart, early in the morning because the dang thugs are taking over so much she wants to be as close to the store as possible.

Watched one of you Bozos with a handicap plate unload a climber tree stand and hit the woods with it on his back up at Skyline onetime.
It is what it is.

I'm no Dr. but most of the people I see using them don't appear to be in bad shape either. I observe the same thing. Interesting article: http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2017/11...=default-widgetIt is a known fact that the true unemployment rate is much higher than reported as a very large percentage of people dropped out of the work force as a result of the Great Recession and applied for SS disability. The SS disability rolls are very high now. And now we have military veterans make all kinds of VA disability claims that military folk of prior generations would have never made. A few years ago when going into Wally world a brand new cherry red Camaro pulled into the handicapped parking spot, had a disabled veterans tag, and a handicapped placard on the mirror......and out came an early to mid 30s black man who looked and walked like a college linebacker. All normal and happy. If there was anything wrong with him it was in his head. This is not to take away from anyone who is legit disabled whether it be SS or VA, but it is a FACT of our contemporary history that there is a massive abuse of the system going on.

I think the tags are easier to get. When my late father-in-law had some vascular issues pop up, he was told that he could get a tag/decal. It really pissed him off because he knew others who were in more need of them and also didn't like to feel like he was infirm. But mostly the first part - he knew of others who needed or could use them, and he could still get around OK. As his problem progressed he eventually did use one. But overall, yeah, I think they're being doled out more easily these days. Could be wrong. Last week in Denver we were in a coffee shop and a woman literally was losing her damned mind screaming "WHO'S PARKED IN THE HANDICAPPED SPOT WITH NO TAG?" No one answered and she yelled it again, and then went out and took photos of the van. Five minutes later a dude comes out of the bathroom, sheepish look on his face, and walks straight to the van. Bubble Gut must have gotten to him pretty fierce!
