Yes, used them before. They did a good job....70 bucks though.
Last time I brought one, they acted like they were doing me a favor by processing it. Kinda rude. Oh well.
Will use them again.

Buck is grumpy but he can take it and give it. I've never seen a cleaner processor - he even wheels them in on a gurney! I agree, I think he's a little high and sometimes you don't get much, but I feel better when I see his operation.

If right off of the Tallassee exit is in the Auburn area, then Floyds Processor is your spot. The cleanest processor I have ever saw and vacuum seal everything. Really good people on top of that.

Shana's in Shorter is good but can get expensive if you get specialty stuff. The Sportsman's Outpost in Waverly is 10 minutes from Auburn and they do a good job. I've also used Buck's and never had a problem with them. There's a couple more in the area I've used but wouldn't go back to. I have also heard good things about Floyd's and it's a little closer than Shana's.
If you thought Buck's is high at $70 then you may need to start processing your own. I don't think anyone around here that is good will do it for any cheaper. Most are $75 or $80 for standard processing.

Used pine grove in camphill for years. Also heard good things about the archery shop on 280.

Shana does a good job...just started using her last year. $70 is cheaper than I’ve ever gotten a basic job done unless I’d already quartered up the deer.

I will also 2nd Buck's operation. he and his wife don't go out of their way to be friendly, but the quality of their processing is unmatched. I've used them for about 7 years now, and getting a minimum of 2 deer/year processed there.
