My old superlite boots finally came apart due to my negligence of leaving them in the back of my truck with the cover lid closed during the summer. Superlite is out of business so I can't find another pair of those. I need some new ones that are light weight. My RA affects my back a lot and I can't walk far with heavy boots on. I don't need lots of insulation. What do you suggest??

The old Lacrosee Grange are
About as light as you can ask for, not saying they are the most comfortable or the warmest by any means but are light and last

Mucks are comfy but they do not last if you hunt anywhere with briars. I have went through quite a few pair from them getting hung on stuff.

I bought a pair of Herman Survivors from Walmart a few weeks ago. The are pretty light to me and comfortable IMO.
I wear my Lacrosse 1000 grain cook ur feet off boots I've had since 2006 when it actually gets cold lol but I needed a new pair of non-leather hunting boots. They are insulated too. Only thing I don't like about the Herman's is they are slick..Stepped on my climber stand a few days ago when it was wet and slid right down into the boot straps..

I bought a pair of Le Chameau Chasseur's at Christmas last year and they are hands down the most comfortable and lightweight boots I have ever worn.

Guess I should delete my post...forgot the topic is "rubber boots". Mine are some kind of synthetic but do have a rubber type sole.

I bought a pair of mucks a few weeks ago. They are the most comfortable slip on boots I've owned. The only time they bother me is when it's really hot outside. They get a little warm

Walked 8 miles in mine yesterday. Comfortable to me.
I wear them year round while in the woods. If it gets in the 40’s or below I take artic shield boot blankets.

Bogs are great as well. Their boots come with a lifetime warranty which I can attest that they do honor.

Wish it was hunting season.....year round

If lite is the only stipulation, have you ever picked up a pair of the white boots commercial fishermen wear (Apalchicola Reeboks)? They weigh nothing. Can't hunt in white boots, but I have seen a navy blue version. Don't know how comfortable they'd be for walking and such, but they are lite.

LOL, I have seen it take two men helping to get em off after a long sweaty day.

I'm done with lacrosse boots after this pair wears out. They provide ZERO grip in red clay or soft mud. Probably has something to do with the way my foot strikes the ground but I've come very close to busting my but on several occasions.
