Way to go, Jono! Happy for you man!  Southwood garholed me. He told me we were going to his number one spot. Nevermind we passed one of the biggest bucks I've ever seen on the way in about 3 miles before "his" spot. Then he sends me down a logging road and tells me, "walk that way" and pointed towards Orion in the sky. He didn't even tell me until after the hunt that we were on private property but only mentioned to run if I saw anyone as I walked off from the truck early this morning. Apparently this is a turkey hunting tactic that I'm not aware of since I'm a lowly ol' deer hunter. I'm looking for a new hunting partner if anyone is available.

First time processing my own.....donyou rinse the meat off or anything? Dry it after? May seem dumb but I have no idea. Just spray it off with a water hose after you get it skinned. Quarter it up and put it in a cooler on ice. Open the drain so the water can run off. Keep it on ice for a few days letting the blood drain out.

Yea rinse it off. Let it drip dry/drain then freeze.
