. Use the 2 rachet straps and it does the same thing. Not really. The way the X-stands are set up there’s no way for a squirrel to ever eat up your ratchet straps because they attach at the ladder instead of around the tree. They really aren’t any more expensive either. The onyx ones are plenty big and can be found for around $150 if you catch em on sale.
