He had choice words for the state and declined to meet with any ministers. Inmate executed for the murder of a police office. http://www.waff.com/story/36638878/alaba...-police-officer

I remember the incident. Basically assasinated the officer while in his patrol car. Justice served About 20 years too late but served none the less. I have more to say but I need to keep it to myself.

I'm quite certain that about an hour ago, he had wished he had done some praying before he died.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

I don't get it. Why does it take 20years to kill someone on death row? Let say a meal is 3.00 over a 20year period that's $65700.00. Now if you figure in everything element I would say the state has spent well over 100,000.00. Why?? I can see on some cases but when there is no doubt why wait so long? The bad thing is that I have read it cost a heck of a lot more to execute an inmate than it does to keep them in prision for life. Not that I am not in favor of the death penalty.

For you rush to execute guys what would you say to the hundreds of death row inmates that have been exonerated after serving a decade or more if they had been rushed to death? Oh, sorrry. Didnt mean to kill you innocent person. I completely agree with due process. But 20 years????

Didnt mean to kill you innocent person. What do you say to the officer's family when you want to drag this crap out for decades and cost the people of this state hundreds of thousands of dollars for each individual? You become richer, the people become poorer and this is somehow justice being served? It smells like something being served but it's not justice. This case was not ambiguous. Where it is clear who committed an act of this sort - drag them out back and make the next ones in line dig a hole. Shoot him in the earhole with a .22 and make the next ones in line bury his sorry ass.

Shoot him in the earhole with a .22 and make the next ones in line bury his sorry ass. If a case is borderline or ambiguous, I can understand waiting, but when it's blatantly obvious who did it, it needs to be taken care of in a reasonable time frame.

For you rush to execute guys what would you say to the hundreds of death row inmates that have been exonerated after serving a decade or more if they had been rushed to death? Oh, sorrry. Didnt mean to kill you innocent person. I agree with that to a point. In circumstances where there is clear indisputable evidence it should be carried out swiftly. When there is video plainly showing the person, a ton of eye witnesses, hard evidence, or something like a active shooter that the cops wound while in the act and take in those should be carried out almost immediately after trail unless appealed. Then with the appeals trail it should be mandatory to be held withen 2 yr of the first trail on cases like that. On the ones where there is weak circumstantial evidence or no eye witnesses, DNA etc I can agree with doing a longer more thorough process. But there is no reason people like we have all watched on the crime shows on video clear enough to read the tats on their face and necks who walk in kill a 7 eleven clerk in cold blood for $80 should ever be allowed to live 20 yrs or longer sitting on death row.
Ethical behavior is doing the right thing when no one else is watching - even when doing the wrong thing is legal. Aldo Leopold .. (except when it comes to trailer tags)

The .32 either acp or .327 magnum would be a better choice than .22lr. I'm not a real religous person but Job 4:8 They that plow the ground of evil&inequity shall reap what they sow.
