Private pilot here, single engine, IFR.
Mine isn't current. I haven't flown PIC in 20 years. I used to fly a Cherokee 140 & Cessna 172.
I took 20 hours of instruction in a helicopter, and I like flying helicopters better, but it's too expensive.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I'm Not a pilot but after doing several mission trips to AK, and a lot of small plane flights, I have a strong desire to learn how.

A 180 would be more useful, but I want a super cub.

How close were you to getting your heli license? Had to close to 1/2 way.

I'm not in a position to pursue it right now but a sport pilots license seems like it would be cool

You realize you're not allowed to fly over JHS on gameday and drop things out the window, right? laugh

Used to fly but it's been 30 years. A guy offered to sell me a 172 right after I got out of Auburn but I didn't have $7500.

I was halfway. But I met this redheaded Cajun knockout, and made a terrible mistake. I got married. If only I'd been smart enough to let the military pay for my flying lessons. That was my 2nd terrible mistake.

I have a friend that went to school specifically for missionary piloting. Pretty cool stuff.

My dad used to fly. I wish I had the money to do it, but that's life!

I always thought that was the most boring flying position. Reverse cowgirl piloting is more fun.

I'd love to get mine one day. I didn't know there were that many specialties either.
