The best cover scent is no scent. I strive to smell like nothing. Keep my clothes in a trunk with split pine and cedar chunks. Heart pine works even better. Use scent free laundry detergent, scent free body soap, never wear my hunting clothes until I'm at the woods ready to hunt. I wear a jogging suit or overalls (also washed in scent free soap) until the last minute. I get dressed only when Im ready to walk to the stand.
Never, never, never eat breakfast in your hunting clothes!
I shake my head every time I see a group of camo clad hunters in hardees at 5:00 am.
