How many of those are Mexicans/illegal aliens filling those stadiums? Lack of interest= lack of success.I never hear soccer being discussed anywhere unless it's a child's rec team. MLS teams are averaging anywhere from 20-40k fans/game. Atlanta United is bringing in close to/in excess of 70k/game. There is FAR from a "lack of interest", even in the South. US tv viewership of the English Premier League is also growing at a rapid pace. I won't go so far as to say soccer is "taking over", but interest in the US is growing pretty rapidly. Never been to an MLS game. I did go see two Premier League teams play in Nashville last summer. Very few of the 50,000+ at the game appeared to be Hispanic, most were White Americans.
