In the 60's I heard the term as "Yellow Dog". Big Jim Folsom, George Wallace, etc. Right but yellow dogs towed the party line and blue dogs were the conservative democrats. There are actually a few of them left. I wasn't trying to be a douche and correct anybody. Just curious Yellow dog, blue dog , they'll all be pinko, left wing dogs when Chuck gets finished with them.

Sad that no one has a backbone anymore. The old "have to toe the party line" nonsense has ruined a lot of good people.
We need two or three more viable parties to make this system work right. The only way to make that happen is to take away the money. No one is going to do that - the folks in power are too spoiled and too sorry to make it work again.
I fear I have seen the last of the good ole USA. It doesn't bother me much as I have lots of other options but the vast majority of folks will watch the hatred from both sides consume the place until it burns down.

IMO if there were more parties it would only divide the republican party side. The dems are happy with who they have and what they get in return.

Did any of you see Fox 6 where they ran election results? They said they were testing it but it said "Strange 55%, Moore 45%"
I'm no conspiracy theorist but...

I'm no conspiracy theorist but... Without seeing the numbers, I would guess this is possible, if all the other candidates that voted for someone else in the primary went with Strange. I could see that being conceivable with Moore being more of a either you love him or hate him candidate. He may have gotten all the votes he's going to get in the primary and not pick up many more in the runoff. I know locally, them Dems are quietly pushing the other Dems who didn't vote in the primary to vote Republican this time since this wouldn't be crossover voting. They seem to be pushing Strange.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Is there really a big difference in the senate voting between the two of them? I think Moore would probably vote the same as Strange on about any of the bills brought up. Neither one of them are the prettiest puppies in the litter. I'll agree with this on a whole. Unless a vote comes up that Moore would view as a way to make himself a Martyr to further his political clout I think he would break ranks from Trump quicker than Strange would. I can't imagine what that voting issue would be though so I think that they would be tit for tat, basically the same thing.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

It is absolutely possible. I haven't followed this like I should because frankly I'm not a fan of either. But, it would surprise me to see a heavy Trump state vote against someone he's endorsed...as crazy as it is. I'm going to start a new thread with the pic.
