Looking at going this route possibly for my next truck. What are the biggest cons/problems besides gas mileage from you that have owned one? Thanks.

Well, mine is 2011 and I have just over 160,000 miles on it. I have never had one single issue with any mechanical problems since owning the truck which I bought with 19,000 on it. It has plenty of power to pull and do anything I need to do, from boats, jet skis to tractors or hauling flatbed trailers of seed/fertilizer. I have gotten it stuck one time and that was my fault. Rides good with the right tires and I would buy another if I had the choice. Mine is 4x4 Pro.,

Some of the earlier models had issues with the rear axle seals leaking and then crapping out. My 06 did so twice before they figured out the seals were the problem. It's a Dana rear end but the seals were weak. The 2nd time I was in Green Bay WI on a hunting trip, can't say enough about the guys getting my truck in and out the same day so we could make a goose hunt that next morning. They actually stayed late.
The receptionist father had a dog buried at Coondog Cemetery, small world.

Must have been a hell of a dog. Takes a panel of hunters to approve it!

I got a new one, so I can't be of much help to you. But I'm following the thread. So far I'm happy with it.

Been here long enough to go from "bring 'da pain" to " bring 'da pain meds.

I have 09' with 200k. Great truck. I only have put tires, oil and 1 set of brakes on it.

My neighbor just bought a 2017 platinum edition with 21k miles. I know there is a TSB on the tailgate opening issue. Anyhow, he loves it so far. That truck has so much crap on it I asked him if it cooked breakfast, he replied "for what I gave, it better!"

Had an '07 and now have a '14. Only thing I've had to do was put brakes on one. Ran about 70k miles on the first one. Have got 38k miles on this one.
