I have a old JD 4 row planter that I use the fertilizer bins to hold my seed plates and extra drive chain.

Other than that the only thing they are good for is a place for red wasps to build a nest in. My son always says I look like I am handling nitro glycerin when I go to open those lids. Slowly and carefully with a full can of wasp killer.
