Screw a fertilizer box. If you want to use them they are very easy to find. Every farmer has a stack in the weeds behind their shop They're all in the weeds because the fertilizer ate them up. Fertilizer on your planter is a BAD idea. 1 person in a 100 is anal enough to clean it properly so the fertilizer doesn't corrode everything. cue all the BhamFred wannabe's who will say "I take mine down to the last nut and bolt and I boil all the individual parts in linseed oil and paraffin", "why I'm still using farm implements my ancestor's took off the Ark". I know its coming.
