I dont know anything about commercial type farming, I'm just a part time wannabe that enjoys my little corner of heaven. But it appears we're comparing apples to oranges. A small time farmer or gardener doesnt have the high tech equipment modern day pros have. I have a 1975 Ford 4000 that I farm with. I love it. Me planting 5 to 10 acres of corn doesnt even compare to what you do. My little 1 row Covington, opens a furral, drops fertilizer, covers, drops seeds then covers and packs. Kinda a "all in one" operation. Perfect for me growing enough for my friends and family. I love the idea of No Till planting, but I dont have the equipment or expertise to do that. Kinda "old school" for me.
Lone Watie: I'm glad you stopped me when you did. I might have killed her
