My granddad was rough on deer, but was head deacan at his small church. One sunday they had a missionary come to the church and since my granddad was head deacan, he took him back to house for dinner. On the way home, he sees a buck in a field on the side of the road. He tells the missionary to role down his window and he shoots this buck across the missionaries lap. Drove home and tells my dad who was dating my mom at the time to go get the deer. One of my favorite stories.
I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore I believe in work, hard work. -George Petrie (1945)
