Do any of y'all use rice bran as a supplement? If so where do you put it in feeders or just on the ground? Never used it before

I have used Rice bran and the deer in my area like it. I am using the Big Tine 30-06 Protein plus mix with a little corn and the deer have been tearing it up. Use it in troughs.

I believe rice bran only has 9% protein. Most deer feed feed is north of 20%

How much is everybody paying for it? Here in Georgia I've been quoted prices from the mid 20's to low 30's for a 50lb sack. I think that's highway robbery.

I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern

I've heard of higher prices

I know some guys that swear by it. Me personally I've never tried it so I can't say if it's worth the money or not.

used it for years, deer eat the snot out of it, any flavor.

it ain't advertized as high in protien, it helps put weight on the deer, not grow antlers.

As a supplement,, yes and no,,,I read it's great for winter feed,,, deer have got to have those carbs when the freeze is on,,, other than that it's good to mix with other nutrients that are found in Buck grub and some other Buck grub knock offs.
