Most posts have huge deer populations. When I was at Benning it was nothing to see huge herds in the drop zone at night, as well as the rest of the post.

That's a stud for sure interesting cant see the ears on either side. I am sure they are behind the main beams just cant see them, but if it came from a deer farm it would have holes in them from the tags.

I used to hunt there before they changed the rules. It's a pain to get in there now. But there were some huge deer coming out each day.

The season in KY starts in about 5 weeks.

The locals are patterning them right now in Ag fields and will continue til opening day. There will be a bunch tagged out by dark on opening day because of it. If you see on KY gamecheck where a buck is killed opening afternoon, there's a good chance it was a good one. Cause an honest hunter would be done buck hunting with 4 months of season left.
