Yes. You can certainly make some money selling big popular and gum for cross tie logs. As long as they aren't too close to a dwelling and you can find someone that'll move in for that small of a tract. I had some big gum and popular cut around my house 5-6 years ago. Local guy, cut with a saw and had a loader truck. Just ask around.
