I suspect that anyone who has shot some kind of bow for 20 years can do the same as me. Weekly stickbow shooting absolutely helps my compound shooting. I just don't find compounds "fun" to shoot and so don't. I do hunt with them sometimes.


I hunt with a recurve (no sights) and I have to start shooting a month or so before the season to feel comfortable on opening day. 20 years ago I had to start shooting in July to be ready.
