We were there around the same time then. Downstairs under the porch. Had my two teenagers and my blonde headed 3 year old boy with us. Fed the fish crackers over and over.

Dang. Would have liked to finally meet you.

There's a lot of good stuff down this way. I'm 10 minutes from Mississippi

Folks from Roosters in Pine Hill have opened one in Jackson. Havent tried it yet, but the guy running it seems to know his way around a kitchen.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Is this the place that sells the seafood? Cooks crawfish for ya. If so it's jam up.

If you order a "Basket" it will be more oysters or shrimp than you can eat and they will all be fresh from the Gulf. I don't often eat fried seafood, but when I do Bozo's is the place.

Great steamed stuff too.

The place is a hole in the wall, but those are the kind of places that I love.

Rooster's is pretty good; Gaines Ridge and Bates very overrated; IMO.

imo, nothing overated about a plate of dressing from Bates!

Jordan's on Hwy 45 is good. Grew up not far from there and eaten there countless times. Guy that owns it is a big hunter. Years ago I ran into him at the airport- he was flying to Alberta to go deer hunting.

Thread has been up for hours and the AL Deer detectives who investigate every single post (and beat most to death) haven't pointed out the thread title should be SE MS. I'm shocked!
