We go to Church of the Highlands. That probably indicates where I stand on the subject.
Regardless of the music, our church is the most spiritual, loving, welcoming, giving and God centered that I have ever been associated with. I have never known a Church that does more for God than this church does.
Psalms 96:1 Says...
"O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth."
He doesn't say keep singing the old ones forever...
I go to the same church now after spending the first 26 years of my life in the same one. I like the vast majority of songs that are sung/played there, but the ones I'm on the fence about have more to do with flow/wording that the instruments. I think that people have different tastes, and that is A-OK, but churches need to modernize without getting outside the Bible.
