My dad has a litter of puppies that he has told my 12 year old he could try and sell the extras. They are pure bred, but no papers. He is a six day a week bird hunter and they are good hunting dogs, but hard to convience an old timer to get papers. The original stock was papered with multi champs in the blood line. What would be a good price to my son to advertise them for? Thanks

This is off topic but I've always wondered if a gsp would make a good shed dog. They have outstanding drive, and will to hunt. I've never known of anyone using one for that reason though.

Not sure if he has papers on mother, the original bloodline is from the same bloodline of the dog that was on th purina high pro bag several years ago. Some kinda grand national champion. I'll see if I can find anything.

Let me know when your ready to sell and I'll probably be interested in buying. Natural selection has. Yelled the dog herd at my house and I'm down to a GSP and small 14 yr old mutt. The GSP is an awesome hunting and companion dog.

I've had several people interested, but I still don't know what is a fair price? I've looked at some online and it just seems really high what I've seen. Just looked a a couple of ads for non registered puppies and they were like 400 and up. Now if it was the original dogs, with papers. Some of them went for big money. Would a couple of hundred be fair? I don't want to teach my son to try and beat anyone. Thanks in advance

I would say $250 would be fair, I paid a lot more than that for mine with papers from AKC and I believe CKC. I would think you could train those dogs to do anything, they are extremely smart.
Mine will fetch until you give out but she is skittish of gunfire right now, hoping that changes before dove season. She is one heck of a baseball retriever too, when I pitch BP to my son she will run down every baseball and bring it back to the bucket.
