Crew out of Russellville done some for me in Jan. I think it was $70/sq for archarchitectual, put down tarps, cleaned the mess up you couldn't even tell they had been there other than the new roof. Was gone by 11 am tore off one layer, new synthetic felt, shingles, and roof boots and removed all the debirs replaced a few pieces of soft decking as it was a rental I had just purchased.
You can't buy a sq of architectural shingles for $70 a sq must be labor only Mac...you may need to explain the difference between a square and sq ft. If they aren't familiar with roofing they may not know how to convert your square price to the actual roof size...
