That's a nice hide. You don't see many that consistently patterned. Very pretty. Probably not big enough for a belt though. Maybe a hat band. Looks like under two feet based on the tire track being 265mm +/-.

A little over 2' id say. They all die if poison around me outback especially ones that are right beside my house and slithering toward the neighbors house.

Yep - wouldn't want a family member or a pet to accidentally step on it. It would be ugly. The ones in the woods usually get a pass from me but the ones in the yard don't.

Thats only the 4th one ive seen in 11 years but 3 have been killed in the last year. This one was the most ill tempered of all them. I missed his head the first whack and that bastard came after me wide open.

Coppers heads and the old cotton mouth never get a pass from me. Seems like they are the most pissed off thing in the world when you encounter them.
