That's a whole lot of steaks right there.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

What's crazy is that he filleted it instead of selling it. I bet it was worth $10k or more Everyone involved in landing the fish has to have a commercial license in order to sell it. I doubt that was the case.

Congratulations to the young man!
Some of the replies from the link sounded like some of the smart ass know it all's on here when someone post a picture of a big fish they caught.

Why don't bluewater fishermen practice catch and release! Tarpon get released.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Good greif ! Wonder if it was free range. Yes, but from the big pen in the mountainous region of the Gulf.

Said only 45 minute fight. Impressive It dang sure is for a fish that big and strong! If whoever is driving the boat knows what they are doing surprisingly it doesn't take that long. Sounds like the daddy and the captain was some ole salts.
