All of these protectionist things might help the landowner and timber companies, but hurt the consumer. There's no upside for the consumer, but maybe a few more logging jobs if prices are propped up. ^^^^I agree with this. I actually want to buy American but I'm not going to pay extra for someone's inefficiencies.
