I put mayo on my lasagna, spaghetti, and Lima beans. I'll sometimes put ketchup on macaroni (boxed kind not homemade) and my scrambled eggs...

My favorite is a sho-dan stuffed with sausage. Beef debris in a thick arse gravy over rice is some fine eating. Boiled or smothered ponse is an acquired taste if you can get over the smell when you cleaned it. Really like beef tongue and hog tongue. Catfish head court boullion is great too. Jowls off and alligator in a sauce picante is really great. Coot breast and gizzards in a gumbo. Hell I love just wild duck and goose gizzards and hearts cooked in a gravy. A sure nuff hog head cheese is hard to beat. Fried calf brains is kinda like fried shrimp. Yellow belly turtle fricasse is good eating. This is just a few delicacies I can think of now. I'm sure I will think of more.

Old feller at work used to make bologna and banana sandwiches . Always thought that was a strange combo.
Had a uncle who loved calf tongue sandwiches.

We went to a sushi place with some friends, a couple, and he had been drinking. So instead of ordering some tried and true stuff, he wanted to order something "adventurous." So he ordered some kind of octopus something or another. We ordered stuff we knew we liked... So all the sushi comes out and the octopus sushi is actually like whole , little baby, octopi. I swear to you it was like something out of an Andrew Zimmerman TV show. Unfortunately, I had been drinking too. And after he ate one he dared me to eat one too. Have you ever drank ink or been chewing on a pen and some of the ink got into your mouth? It has the consistency of uncooked chitlin's and tasted like India ink. Worse thing I have ever eaten. I'm sure the sushi chef told his buddies about the stupid arse Gaigin about to puke.

I'm sure the sushi chef told his buddies about the stupid arse Gaigin about to puke. I was in Busan SK a couple of years ago, ventured out to a mall of sorts with a restaurant grouping. Thought to myself I can order from the picture with the number which I did and thought I ordered #whatever chicken. After a few minutes the cranky lady called me over, my order was ready... I shat you not it was a bowl of ice water with an octopus tentacle in it. I pushed it back and said chicken, she pushed it back at me with attitude. I took it to the table started trying to chew the rubber. Didn't go so well with my Sol.

Reminds me of my boy Spanky, I believe he's from somewhere around ville platte and he can throw some stuff together that'll make you think twice about eating it but goodnight everything he cooks is absolutely delicious.

I went and spent a week at Nizuc resort in Riviera Mya two years ago. Asked the waiter at the pool what would he order. He said the octopus burger. He brought it out and it was a big tentacle grilled and topped with a spicy sauce. I ordered 1 every day we were there. Went to Nizuc a few years ago when it had just opened; one FINEST resorts anywhere. Everything I ate there, including the octopus was excellent.

Pickled deer heart is a family favorite. Dang! I'd like to try that! Friggin delicious. Wash and clean heart real good and boil it. Then thin slice and let it sit in a jar of spices and vinegar for a day or two. Put a slice on a cracker, and enjoy with a cold beer. Favorite snack in the world.

We never throw away tongues and hearts of deer or beef. I've just never had them pickled before. Folks don't know what they are missing. Just try them once.

Ox tails in a soul food restaurant. Good stuff. Wife asked me what it was. Showed her pic of cows ahole. Think she has had different opinion of me ever since lol I make an oxtail stew that takes me several hours of braising and I serve it over grits made with whole milk. It will make you slap your mama.

I make a French Onion soup using oxtails as the base. It's ridiculous.
I've seen chicken livers listed multiple times. Assuming Yankees posted that.......
ETA: I'll try anything once food wise.
