My first hunt of the season today. I took my pastor to my honey hole. It was all textbook until pastor pulled the trigger. He shot him at 30yds in full strut. Gobbler rolled backwards then sprang up and flew off. Game over. I named that bird Lazarus. Did you cuss? Even in your mind?!  Dr. B Naw. I just laughed and told him that gobblers don't respect anybody. Not even preachers! I then said that turkeys have a way of humbling a man.
