Just give him a few soft clucks and then scratch leaves. And as already said, get where he wants to go. The soft clucks are mainly just so you can claim you called him. Once he is gone I go to about where he was rooster and turn it loose. Have had several come running back answering every call when before hand they would not gobble for 15 minutes when called to.
