For the last 10yrs, my work phone and personal phone have been the same. If your employer is OK with it, it doesn't make sense to have two.
If a customer calls me on Saturday at 8PM, I answer it.

I've had the same work phone provided to me for 11 years and gave up my personal phone. Why would I want to pay an extra bill for 11 years and carry 2 phones?

keep your personal phone. they can check on who you talk to and how long you are using it for personal.

My work and personal are the same - the company reimburses me for a cell and data plan; however, the bill is sent to me for payment.

I just use my company phone. I don't have any conversations on the phone that are that private. Are your goat conversations that private? I'm on call 24/7/365. If I had a personal cell they would call me on that. So, leaving it in the truck ain't an option. My situation as well.

Have the company phone from the last 3 places ive worked. I had a tendency of taking personal and forgetting work so just one for the last 10 years.

Keep them separate. And for Gods sake keep your business and personal email separate. My counterpart at work, who I've been covering for the past week while he was on vacation, has his work email as his personal email. He has all of his emails autoforwarding to me.. I want to kick him in the nuts.. if I get one more damn email about a discount on baseball stuff I may lose it..
Anywhom, rant over, keep business and personal separate.

After working for a employer who had told us use them as your own as long as your not running up over minute charges etc, they called us in one morning and said everyone put your company phones on the table and pick them up this afternoon after we go thru everything on them.
I now have a company and a personal.
The co phone gets turned off unless its my on call week and they do not have my personal cell #.

I would have the corporate phone for work and my personal for whatever personal is needed.
If two is inconvenient, so be it. Rmart30's example may be unlikely but it is possible. All it takes is ONE screwup in the company to have everyone's stuff checked out. Plus, even if they say it can be used for personal its primary function is for work and they provided it and they have the final say on it.
Also, unless you absolutely have to answer customer or work calls after work hours then turn that thing off at 5 p.m. or closing time and be done. This belief that we should check in during vacations and be "on" or "available" anytime is a bunch of chit. Some jobs may necessitate it. Not all of them do, though, and society has gotten into this "gotta be plugged in checking in reporting in available all the time!" mentality. It's crazy. Work the hours and be done.

If we had it to do over again, I'd have both. As it is, I have only a work phone. IF you go that direction, make sure you set up a personal email account and have your iCloud under that account. That way, should you leave the company, all the info will go with you.
