I used to have way too many. I'd just snatch them up if I found a good deal at a yard sale or store or whatever. I think I had like 25+. Couple years ago I assessed and cut way back, and sold/swapped/bought exactly what I wanted. Now I've only got 10 total:
3 baitcasters, all Lew's. 1 M and 2 MH. 1 HEAVY cat/saltwater rod. Abu 7000 series on a heavy ugly stik tiger rod. 2 matching saltwater/cat spinning rigs. 2 matching ML pflueger spinning rigs, for bream/crappie/light bass 2 L spinning rigs, for trout and bream
I much prefer having a smaller arsenal of exactly what I need, rather than a huge mess of random rods.
