I've killed three smoky grey gobblers, one with no beard, one with no spursa full grown gobbler that weighed 12 1/2 pounds with a 10" beard and 1" spurs. NOT skinny, just shaw sized 3 smoky Grey's??? I've never heard of anyone else killing more than 1. Only sg gobbler I've ever seen was dead; guy in GA killed him and had been hunting him hard all season. Congrats on some rare birds. One of the best gobblers I ever killed weighed just 14; 12.5 is really small.

PCP, I killed a 14 pounder near Pineapple early 70s ,10 inch beard. I never saw a bird off that place over 16 pounds in several years.

I don't know if it's rare, but I've killed a limit for a couple years of all double bearded turkeys. I've only killed one double spurred turkey.
83% of all statistics are made up.

I seized a nice double spurred turkey killed illegally in Mo and brought back to Al. Secondary spurs were 3/4" I think, it is mounted in the USFWS office in Montgomery last I heard.

I don't know if it's rare, but I've killed a limit for a couple years of all double bearded turkeys. I've only killed one double spurred turkey. I've been turkey hunting a long time, killed first at 14-15 in early 80s, and only seen one with multiple beards. Dad took a triple beard in the late 80s. I would say that what you have done is not only rare but amazing.
